Trustcase inside your AI tools
Ask Cursor or Claude for an AI agent that fits your job and get real Trustcase use cases back: what it does on its own, what waits for your yes, a trust score from 0 to 100 and a prompt you can paste. 140 use cases, free and read-only.

What you can ask
"Find me a safe AI agent for stale eBay listings"
search_use_cases returns Stale listing refresh (85), Listing writer (78) and Cross listing helper (82), each with a link to its page.
"Show sales agents with a trust score over 80"
Filters by category and score, so you only see setups that keep a human yes on anything risky.
"Give me the full setup for stale-listing-refresh"
get_use_case returns what it does alone, what waits for you, the score breakdown, tools, models and a prompt you can paste.
The two tools
- search_use_cases: search by words, with optional category, minimum trust score and limit. Returns title, summary, score and the trustcase.dev link.
- get_use_case: the full entry for one use case by its slug, including the setup prompt, tools, models and score breakdown.
Install
The server is published on npm as trustcase-mcp. Your app runs it with npx -y trustcase-mcp, so there is nothing else to install.
Cursor
Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json, then reload Cursor.

}Claude Desktop

claude mcp add trustcase -- npx -y trustcase-mcp
Why it is read-only
Trustcase scores agents on how much damage they could do on a bad day. This server practices what we score: it can look things up and nothing else. See how the trust score works.
The raw feed
Building your own tool? Every use case is in one JSON file at /api/use-cases.json. Use it freely, and please link back to the use case page.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. The server is free and open source, and so is the directory behind it.
Can it change anything in my accounts?
No. Both tools are read-only. It cannot send, buy, post or edit anything. It only answers questions about Trustcase use cases.
Do I need an API key?
No. It reads the public Trustcase feed. There is nothing to sign up for.
How often does it update?
New use cases are added most days. The server picks them up within an hour.
Which apps does it work with?
Any app that supports MCP, including Cursor, Claude Desktop, Claude Code and other MCP clients.
